Due to the limited availability of COVID-19 tests, the City of Austin and Travis County officials continue to require residents to take mandatory screening tests in order to qualify for COVID-19 testing. To take the self-assessment and learn if you qualify for a COVID-19 test, go to covid19.austintexas.gov call 512-972-5560.

COVID-19 update from our Community Council:

The City of Austin recommends that businesses with sit-down customers such as banks, restaurants, and salons collect contact information from customers who receive services in person. You may be asked for your name, phone number, or email address. No one will retain those details for over one month, and businesses will only share them with the city in case a customer or employee tests positive for COVID-19.

Applications are open for City of Austin RISE funding for Austinites who don't qualify for federal stimulus options. To apply, people should contact organizations distributing the funding directly. The organizations to contact are Catholic Charities, Asian Family Support Services, El Buen Samaritano, or Austin Area Urban League.
